This pattern shows worth/value and is equivalent to the English "to be worth doing".

- used with any verb
- used mostly with the contrast particle -는/은
- ㄹ 만하다 attaches to verbs ending in a vowel
- 을 만하다 attaches to verbs ending in a consonant

Examples:
그 영화는 볼 만해요?/Is that movie worth seeing?
견딜 만해요. It's at a level where I can tolerate it. (견디다/to bear, endure, put up with, stand)
