This pattern is used to stop a quarrel or something is done without question. It acknowledges a fact but insists that a certain condition is true and must be acted upon accordingly.

- 을 막론하고 attaches to nouns ending in a consonant
- 를 막론하고 attaches to nousn ending in a vowel

Examples:
누구를 막론하고 찬석해야 합니다./Without exception, everyone must go.
지위의 고하를 막론하고 부정부패 척결에 힘을 써야 한다./Regardless of rank, one must make efforts to uncover/disclose abuse of power and corruption.
